We should look after our bodies – they are the only place we have to live! But it’s easy to get into the habit of quick and easy food and nourishment.
Let’s take a look at some tips, that we all already know, but that today we will put into action
take1 – Aim to tone
Look to also exercise as well as eating healthily. Muscle mass has less volume pound for pound as fat. So look to tone your body and don’t be so down heartened if the scales don’t fall too much.
take2 – You are ALWAYS on a diet
Your diet is the food you eat, at all times, not just when you “cutting back”. Aim to improve your diet so that it is more healthy and nutritious.
take3 – YOU need nourishment too
It’s not just good food that we need. We also need good nourishment for our mind and soul. Look for this in HAPPY and POSITIVE thoughts. And keep your mind focussed on positive ACTION so that it is not allowed to disappear into that dark and gloomy place of negativity.
take4 – Drink WATER
One way to save ‘calories’ is not to drink calories. The body is 60% water and needs a good supply to help flush toxins and waste out. Stay hydrated.
take5 – Air is free
Make sure you fill your lungs with air. Most of us ‘chest breathe’ and this does not make full use of the capacity of our lungs. Breathe from the belly and fill those lungs – air is free (FOR NOW!)

Know what your body needs to perform at its best. Know your best times of day for activity. Know that you’re a midnight snacker and don’t buy the crisps and chocolate!
